What 𗇨 means
The glosses include “end,” “back/rear,” and “anus.”
Two lexicons from the 12th century list it: Wénhǎi, a dictionary of rhyming words, and Tóngyīn, which groups words with the same sound.
The Western Xia (Xixia) state created Tangut writing around 1036 for the Tangut language. It appeared in official, religious, and private texts, continued under the Yuan and Ming after Western Xia fell, and became obsolete by the end of Ming. Rediscovered in the late 19th century, it was largely deciphered in the early 20th century through the work of Russian scholar Nikolai Nevsky.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗇨 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
