What 𗈾 means
As of 2026, reconstructed readings do not yield one secure English gloss.
The 12th-century Sea of Writing, a Tangut rhyme dictionary, lists 𗈾 at position 11.111. Tangut writing was created in the 11th-century Western Xia state as a distinct character system for the Tangut language, not Chinese writing. It served state records and translations, including Buddhist texts. Its square graphs are built from smaller components; the precise earlier models behind the script remain debated. It continued in inscriptions after the kingdom fell in 1227; a stone inscription dated 1502 records its later use.

1Why does 𗈾 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
