What 𗋕 means
It is a Tangut demonstrative—a pointing word—meaning “that.”
A scholarly Latin transcription writes its reading as tha¹. In one land-sale contract, 𗋕𗼻𘕿 is glossed word for word as “that land upon,” or naturally, “on this land.” The character comes before the noun it points to.
The Tangut script was developed for the Western Xia (Xixia) state around 1036 and used for government, private documents, and religious writing. Its characters may resemble Chinese characters, but it is a separate script. A font without Tangut coverage may show 𗋕 as a missing-glyph box.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗋕 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
