What 𗋣 means
Tangut dictionaries gloss it as “ghost.” Unicode’s code-point name is a catalog label, not a translation. Tangut writing was influenced by Chinese characters but records a different language.
Created in the 11th century for the Xixia kingdom, Tangut was used in government records and Buddhist works, including translations from Chinese and Tibetan. Writing continued after the kingdom fell; the latest known text dates to 1502.
Historical Tangut writing; its “ghost” gloss belongs to that language.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗋣 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
