What 𗐪 means
A Tangut word list glosses 𗐪 as “respectability.”
The reconstructed Tangut reading is khjow. Here it is a word gloss, not the character’s use as a sound inside a name. Tangut writing recorded the Tangut language; its forms drew on Chinese and Khitan writing traditions.
Accounts place the promotion of Tangut writing under Western Xia in 1036 or 1037, and they disagree about the date; one credits Teacher Iri. The script served government records, law, translation, and Buddhist printing.
Why does 𗐪 appear in a Tangut Buddhist name?
In one recorded Buddhist name, it represents the Tangut reading transcribed as khjow for Khyung.
A study of Khara-Khoto manuscripts records 𗐪 khjow in Khyung Rin chen grags, the name of a Tibetan Buddhist master. In that name, the character supplies a sound; it does not mean “respectability.”
Tangut writing remained in limited use after Western Xia fell, with examples into the sixteenth century. After that, its record comes mainly through manuscripts and modern scholarship.
Specialist and historical; the gloss alone cannot tell you whether a passage contains a word or a name.
Do not translate a name occurrence as “respectability” just because that is the word-list gloss.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗐪 show as a box?
The selected font lacks a Tangut glyph for it. A font with Tangut coverage can display it; the box is a display failure, not another character.
