What 𗐼 means
The Unicode label identifies the character; it does not translate it. Unicode calls it “Tangut Ideograph-1743C,” a catalogue label rather than a Tangut word or pronunciation. Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut–Chinese dictionary lists it as entry 4858, and the Unicode chart groups it under structural component 𘡊, component 075. These are lookup routes, not translations.
Western Xia ruler Li Yuanhao commissioned the Tangut script in 1036 as part of state-building; a major aim was to prepare a Buddhist canon in Tangut. The script followed an earlier example set by the neighboring Khitan people, who had created scripts of their own. Tangut forms drew on Chinese visual principles but did not derive from Chinese writing. Surviving works include Buddhist texts, translations from Chinese and Tibetan, and secular writing.
This is a historical Tangut character; its Unicode label cannot tell you what the writer meant by it.
If someone sent 𗐼 alone, its Unicode label cannot reveal a sentence or personal reaction; ask for the Tangut context.
