What 𗘩 means
It means “yellow” in Tangut.
The reconstructed reading is written nər², roughly “ner” with a short, neutral vowel; ² is part of the scholarly notation.
A Tangut text catalogue records it first in 黄石公三略, “Three Strategies of Huang Shigong.”
Tangut writing spread under Western Xia.
The Tangut script was disseminated in 1036 for Western Xia’s official and cultural work. A Chinese work translated into Tangut survives in a Khara-Khoto manuscript from around the 12th century.
Tangut writing drew on Chinese and Khitan traditions but remained a separate script. It continued after Western Xia fell; a Tangut inscription is dated 1502.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗘩 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
