What 𗞇 means
Its word sense needs context from Tangut texts. The Unicode label identifies the character; it does not translate it.
Western Xia ordered Tangut writing in 1036 for government, official use, and Buddhist translation. Its design drew on Chinese character structure and the example of Khitan writing, while remaining a distinct script.
Tangut manuscripts survive from the 12th or early 13th century, including Buddhist and Chinese-derived texts.
Why is 𗞇 missing from my font?
A font with Tangut coverage is needed to display it. Without one, a fallback box may appear.
Ideographic Description Sequences (IDS) describe a character’s parts, but do not replace the encoded glyph in data exchange.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗞇 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
