What 𗟔 means
The character’s dictionary gloss is “vehicle.”
Scholars reconstruct its reading as qo̱¹. In that transcription, q marks a sound made at the back of the throat.
Tangut writing served Western Xia, a historical state, in official, Buddhist, and secular texts. It drew on Chinese and Khitan traditions but remained a distinct writing system.
Historical and specialist: it fits Tangut textual study, cataloguing, and font work.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗟔 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
