What 𗠓 means
It is a Tangut noun glossed “binder” or “barrier.”
A Tangut dictionary gives the reconstructed reading bjạ2. This scholarly notation estimates the old pronunciation; it is not a modern pronunciation guide.
Around 1036, the Tangut script was created under the Western Xia state for government, Buddhist texts, translations, and literature. It drew on Chinese writing but remained a distinct script; neighboring Khitan states had scripts of their own by then. Tangut writing continued into the Yuan and Ming periods, including in religious inscriptions. Unicode identifies 𗠓, but fonts may draw its strokes differently.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗠓 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
