tangut ideograph-1788a

Tangut character for dung

2187/6136

𗢊 is a Tangut character read wjụ, meaning “dung.” Created under Western Xia around 1036, Tangut was a separate script for the Tangut language and marked the state apart from China’s Song dynasty, while drawing on Chinese handwriting. The script appeared in official, private, and religious texts through the Yuan and Ming periods. Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut dictionary tilts the left-hand part’s first stroke; Tangut originals usually show it horizontal.

Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
