What 𗢖 means
This Tangut character is glossed as “sing or chant.” Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary lists entry 2721 and writes its reconstructed reading as tshjwɨj.
Created around 1036 for the Western Xia state, Tangut script served government, Buddhist texts, and an identity distinct from Song China. It drew on Khitan scripts and Chinese design. Manuscripts found at Khara-khoto in present-day Inner Mongolia attest its use in the 12th and 13th centuries; Tangut persisted under Yuan and Ming rule, becoming obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty.
Use it in historical Tangut text or when showing the script.

1Why does 𗢖 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
