What 𗢗 means
A Tangut-Chinese index glosses 𗢗 with 鋒, “sharp edge” or “point.”
Li Fanwen's index belongs to a dictionary that pairs Tangut characters with Chinese glosses. 鋒 gives a short meaning clue, not a full English definition or proof that 𗢗 derives from the Chinese character. Tangut writing took cues from Chinese writing traditions but recorded another language. Khitan and Jurchen were separate scripts used by other states in the same broader era.
The script's conventional origin and early state use are placed around 1036 under Western Xia, a state ruled by Tangut people. Tangut writing appeared in official records, diplomacy and Buddhist texts. It continued after Western Xia fell in 1227. The latest known surviving examples reported are two stone pillars inscribed with dhāraṇī—sacred Buddhist formulas—erected in 1502.
Historical and scholarly: this is a written Tangut character.

1Why does 𗢗 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
