What 𗢡 means
Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary glosses it as “to be frightened.”
It is a word in the Tangut language, written with the Tangut script of the Western Xia kingdom.
Tangut writing began around 1036 during the reign of Western Xia’s first emperor. It served official, private, and religious writing, survived Yuan and Ming rule, and became obsolete by the end of the Ming.
Historical and specialist.
Alone, it won’t reliably say “I’m scared.”

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗢡 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
