What 𗧙 means
Tangut dictionary entry 3196 glosses 𗧙 as “easy.”
The Western Xia court commissioned Tangut writing by imperial decree in the 11th century for official and cultural use. It was modeled on Chinese and Khitan scripts, but it wrote a separate language. Buddhist texts and law codes survive; the latest known Tangut inscription dates to 1502. As of 2026, Tangut is extinct, and this character appears in reference works, fonts, and Tangut input tools.

1Why does 𗧙 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
