What 𗨬 means
It means “narrow.” Tangut was a distinct language. Western Xia ruler Li Yuanhao ordered scholars, including Yeli Renrong, to devise a script that set it apart from Chinese; the court made it official for government in 1036. It carried Buddhist translations and Chinese classics. Though its square forms resemble Chinese writing, Tangut is a separate script. Western Xia fell in 1227; a 1345 Juyong Pass inscription still used Tangut, and Khara-Khoto manuscripts later helped scholars study it.

1Questions people ask
1Why does 𗨬 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
