What 𗩩 means
The label identifies the character, not its meaning. Its algorithmic name gives no Tangut reading; a dictionary entry or sentence context is needed.
Is 𗩩 Chinese? No. Tangut is a separate script for the Tangut language. Chinese writing was its main model; Khitan scripts may also have influenced it. That is a script-level connection, not proof this glyph was borrowed from another script.
Created in 1036 under Western Xia rule, the script served government and Buddhist translation. Surviving works also include law, Chinese classics, military writing and literature. A manuscript leaf probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century; the latest known inscription is dated 1502.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗩩 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.

𗩩\17A69Why is 𗩩 a box on my screen?
fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
