What 𗫶 means
It gave Western Xia a written language of its own.
Created around 1036 for the Western Xia state and Buddhist scripture, the script later carried translations and other books.
Chinese writing influenced Tangut's visual principles, and its makers also took the neighboring Khitan script as a model. Tangut was its own script, not a set of Chinese or Khitan characters copied wholesale.
