What 𗬇 means
It is a Tangut character reconstructed as la in Tangut’s second pitch category. That gives its sound, not its English translation; use a Tangut dictionary and the surrounding words to interpret it in a text.
Is 𗬇 a Chinese character?
No; 𗬇 belongs to the Tangut script. Tangut used square forms modelled on Chinese writing for the Tangut language. The resemblance does not make this a Han Chinese character.
What happened to Tangut after Western Xia?
It outlived the state that created it. Tangut writing appears in official, private, and Buddhist texts, including translations from Chinese and Tibetan. It continued under Yuan and Ming rule after Western Xia fell, then became obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty. Rediscovered in the late 19th century, the script was largely deciphered through early 20th-century scholarship, including Nikolai Nevsky’s work.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗬇 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
