What 𗬌 means
It is Tangut writing; its meaning depends on the text around it.
The Tangut script was created in 1036 as the Tangut state of Western Xia took shape. It helped the state build its own written identity beside the neighboring Song dynasty, a Chinese dynasty, and supported a Buddhist canon—a collection of Buddhist scriptures. The earliest Tangut example cited in scholarship is an official document dated 1072.
After the Tangut kingdom fell, surviving examples shift from official writing toward Buddhist inscriptions. A Buddhist inscription from 1502 is a later surviving example. Tangut writing borrowed visual ideas from Chinese forms, and its creators followed the regional example of the Khitan, another people who developed a script of their own. These links concern the scripts as a whole; Tangut and Chinese writing are distinct, and the history does not reveal 𗬌's individual reading.
Best understood within a Tangut word, document or discussion of the script's history.
Do not treat its Unicode label as a translation; read 𗬌 within Tangut text.
