What 𗭿 means
Its Unicode label is an identifier, not a translation. 𗭿 is a Tangut character; the surrounding text helps identify its word-level meaning.
The Tangut script was made for the Tangut language of the Western Xia state in northwestern China. The first Western Xia emperor established it about 1036 CE. It served official, private, and religious writing, stayed in use under the Yuan and Ming dynasties, then became obsolete.
Tangut resembles Chinese but is a distinct script in the siniform tradition, alongside Khitan and Jurchen writing. These scripts share Chinese-style forms, not readings. Fonts draw Tangut strokes differently; without Tangut font support, 𗭿 may show as a box.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗭿 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
