What 𗮨 means
It refers to slanderous or harmful speech in Tangut.
A Tangut–Chinese dictionary pairs it with 讒, the Chinese character for “slander.” Scholars reconstruct its reading as khi²: a “k” with a puff of breath, then “ee,” with rising pitch. Tangut writing arose in the Western Xia period for government, literature, and Buddhist translations. Manuscripts, inscriptions, and Buddhist prints survive; Tangut texts continued after the state fell. Chinese writing influenced Tangut, but its script remained distinct from Chinese, Khitan, and Jurchen.
Historical and specialist; it fits Tangut texts or discussion of the script.
