What 𗲟 means
The Unicode label identifies 𗲟; it does not translate it. Unicode forms Tangut character names from code points, so the name is an identifier rather than a Tangut reading or gloss. To learn which word 𗲟 represents, consult a Tangut dictionary and the surrounding passage.
The Tangut script developed under Western Xia's first emperor around 1036 for the Tangut language. It served state records, and Chinese classics were translated into it; the earliest surviving example is an official Guazhou document dated 1072. Later writing includes private books, religious texts, inscriptions, and manuscripts. Tangut use is attested as late as 1502, long after Western Xia fell.
Is Tangut Chinese?
No; Tangut is a separate script for another language. Its square forms can resemble Chinese characters. Scholars have discussed possible influence from Chinese or Khitan writing models on Tangut as a whole; that does not identify a Chinese character equivalent for 𗲟.
Tangut sources preserve variant forms, and Unicode encodes some non-meaning-changing forms as one character. Fonts may therefore draw 𗲟 differently; a missing-glyph box means the font lacks Tangut coverage.
Historical and specialist: the label identifies the character, while its word needs a Tangut dictionary and context.
Don't treat the Unicode name as a translation.

Questions people ask
2Can I use 𗲟 as a Chinese character?
No. Tangut was a separate script for the Tangut language. Its square resemblance to Chinese writing does not give 𗲟 a Chinese reading.
Why does 𗲟 look different in different fonts?
It can. Tangut sources preserve variant forms, and Unicode encodes some non-meaning-changing forms as the same character. A font without Tangut coverage may show a box.
