Li Fanwen’s 2008 English index lists Tangut entry 1287 under “mortar.” Unicode’s Tangut chart maps 𗲥 to entry 1287; the “to ask for aid” gloss belongs to a different character, 𗳪 (0793).
Tangut writing was established in Western Xia around 1036 CE. It outlived the state; the latest known Tangut inscription dates to 1502.
A historical Tangut word; its dictionary meaning is opaque in casual chat.
