What 𗲪 means
A Tangut dictionary glosses it as “to wrestle.”
The script was devised in 1036 under Western Xia ruler Li Yuanhao as part of state-building. Its designers followed neighboring Khitan peoples, who had developed scripts about a century earlier, and drew on the square forms of Chinese writing while creating a distinct script for Tangut. It served official records, Buddhist translations and other books. The earliest surviving example, an official document, dates to 1072; writing continued into the early 16th century, long after Western Xia fell.
Historical and specialist; its wrestling sense belongs in a Tangut-language context.
If 𗲪 appears as a blank box, its Tangut glyph is not rendering; the text still contains this character.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗲪 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
