What 𗶙 means
It names a very close family relation. Unicode maps 𗶙 to the Tangut dictionary entry L2008-0514, glossed “very close relative.”
The Tangut script was made for the Tangut language. Around 1036, Western Xia established it for government, Buddhist translations, and a distinct written tradition. Its design drew on Chinese writing principles and the Khitan example: a neighboring people had also sponsored an official script. Tangut remained a separate writing system. After Western Xia fell, the script continued through the Yuan and Ming periods, then fell out of use by the end of the Ming dynasty.
This is a historical Tangut word, suited to writing about Tangut language, history, or scholarship.
Some fonts lack Tangut coverage; source traditions also show variant forms, so display is font-dependent.

1Why does 𗶙 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
