What 𗶢 means
It is a Tangut word associated with anger. Li Fanwen’s 2008 dictionary assigns it entry 0908 and gives the reconstructed reading *njijr. “Anger” is an English scholarly gloss for an extinct language; the Unicode name is a code label, not a translation.
The Tangut script was created in 1036 for the Western Xia state and used in administration, Buddhist writing, and other texts. If you are asking “Tangut or Chinese character?”, this glyph is Tangut: Chinese writing influenced the script’s design, but they are separate writing systems. Tangut writing continued after Western Xia fell in 1227; a 1502 inscription is the latest known example.
Historical and scholarly.
“Anger” is an index gloss, not a universal modern message meaning.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗶢 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
