What 𗷛 means
It denotes a traditional Tangut length measure.
Li Fanwen’s dictionary lists 𗷛 as L1629; an English index glosses it as “chi,” a traditional Chinese measure of length. The Unicode name Tangut Ideograph-17DDB identifies the script and code point, not the meaning.
Created around 1036 for the Western Xia kingdom, Tangut served official, legal, Buddhist, and classical writing. Texts continued through Yuan and Ming; the script was obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty. Chinese influence is clear; Khitan influence is reported, though Tangut remained distinct.
Historical and scholarly; not a conversational cue.
A box may mean the font lacks Tangut coverage.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗷛 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
