What 𗷼 means
It means “to defeat” in Tangut.
A scholarly index glosses it as the action of defeating someone; by itself, the character does not say that the writer lost.
The Tangut script was created under the Western Xia empire around 1036. Its design drew on Chinese and Khitan writing models, but it was not derived from Chinese characters. Tangut later appeared in government records, Buddhist translations, law, and nonreligious learning.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗷼 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
