What 𗺣 means
It means “nest.” Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut–Chinese Dictionary lists entry 2789; Unicode maps 𗺣 to it. “Tangut Ideograph-17EA3” is a generated identifier, not a translation.
Is 𗺣 a Chinese character?
No; it is Tangut. The Western Xia kingdom ordered Tangut writing around 1036. Following the Khitan, who had created two scripts about a century earlier, Tangut borrowed Chinese visual principles without deriving from Chinese. A Tangut Buddhist canon is thought to have been a main goal; a distinct written identity from Song China was another.
After Western Xia fell to the Mongols, Tangut remained in use under Yuan and Ming rule until becoming obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty. Khara-Khoto, in Inner Mongolia, yielded a Tangut manuscript fragment dated to the 12th or early 13th century.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗺣 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
