What 𗺿 means
Its Unicode label is a catalog name, not a translation. It gives no word or pronunciation for 𗺿; a Tangut dictionary or the surrounding passage is needed to identify its reading.
The Tangut script was established in the 1030s for the Western Xia state. It served government, Buddhist translation, law, and literature. Its design drew on Chinese writing principles; neighboring Khitan people had also created scripts for their states. Those are links between writing systems, not evidence that 𗺿 has an exact Chinese or Khitan counterpart.
In 1502, Buddhist stone pillars at Baoding still carried Tangut inscriptions after the Western Xia state had ended. That shows the script remained in use for Buddhist monuments; it does not supply this glyph’s reading.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗺿 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
