What 𗼀 means
It means “hear” in Tangut. Its written structure combines elements for a person and an ear, reflecting that meaning.
Tangut developed under the Western Xia kingdom for official and cultural writing. After the Mongol conquest, it fell out of daily use but survived in dictionaries and Buddhist texts. Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary indexes 𗼀 as L3152; Clauson’s index lists it as #4705.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗼀 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
