What 𗼏 means
Li Fanwen’s dictionary glosses it as “water.” The Tangut–Chinese entry pairs it with 水, the Chinese character for water; that is a translation, not another spelling of 𗼏.
Tangut writing was created in 1036 under Western Xia emperor Li Yuanhao as part of state-building and cultural life. It drew on Chinese writing; the neighboring Khitan people had also developed scripts of their own. Tangut books include Buddhist and secular translations.
Why does 𗼏 show as a box?
A box usually means your font lacks Tangut coverage. Without a Tangut font, a device may show a box or blank. Fonts can draw the same character in different styles.
Historical and specialist; it belongs in Tangut texts and language study.

1Why does 𗼏 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
