What 𗼹 means
The Unicode label identifies the sign, not the Tangut word it wrote.
Tradition dates Tangut writing to 1036. It was used for the Tangut language in Western Xia, a state in what is now northwestern China. Tangut forms drew on Chinese-character structure, but the two scripts are not mutually readable: recognizing Chinese shapes does not let you read Tangut.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗼹 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
