What 𗾴 means
It means “to divine” in Tangut.
A historical Tangut dictionary reconstructs its reading as bu, close to English “boo.”
The Tangut script was created under the first emperor of the Western Xia kingdom about 1036. It served official and Buddhist writing; use continued into the Yuan and Ming periods after the kingdom fell. Its strokes can resemble Chinese characters, but Tangut is a separate script.
Historical and scholarly; 𗾴 belongs to written Tangut.
Chinese-like strokes do not make 𗾴 Chinese; it is Tangut.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𗾴 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
