What 𘁆 means
𘁆 is the Tangut character for “elephant.” The Tangut script was established for the Western Xia state in 1036 to express state identity and write Buddhist texts. Its creation followed neighboring Khitan script projects and Chinese writing principles; surviving books include Chinese and Tibetan translations.
Historical and scholarly, not conversational.
Use a gloss: the elephant meaning is not obvious from the glyph alone.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘁆 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
