What 𘂑 means
In Tangut, it means “to bully and humiliate.”
Western Xia’s first emperor established Tangut writing around 1036 for state identity and Buddhist scriptures (sacred Buddhist texts). A fragment from Khara-khoto’s ruins in Inner Mongolia probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century. Tangut served official, private and religious writing under Western Xia, Yuan and Ming rule, becoming obsolete by the end of the Ming era.
Chinese writing influenced Tangut’s visual form; neighboring Khitan scripts offered a precedent for using a distinct script as a mark of state identity. Tangut is a separate script for a separate language. When a font lacks Tangut coverage, the character may appear as a missing-character box.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘂑 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
