What 𘃔 means
The Wénhǎi dictionary is dated to 1124–31.
In Wénhǎi (“Sea of Writing”), a book that sorts characters by sound, 𘃔 heads Rhyme 32. One scholarly reconstruction gives its pronunciation as djɨ̱.
The Western Xia ruler commissioned the script around 1036, and court official Yeli Renrong developed it for state records and literature. The oldest surviving official Tangut document dates to 1072. After the state fell in 1227, Buddhist texts kept the script in use; an inscription from 1502 shows it lasted centuries beyond the dynasty.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘃔 show as a box?
It means the chosen font or app cannot draw a Tangut glyph. Try a Tangut-capable font; the box is a missing-glyph sign, not another character.
