What 𘃓 means
Its meaning depends on its place in a Tangut text. The technical code-point label identifies the character; it is not a translation.
Tangut writing was created around 1036 for the Western Xia state and Buddhist scripture. The earliest transmitted Tangut-script document is an official military text from 1072.
Later Buddhist, legal, private, and translated works show use beyond the court; a 1502 inscription records the script after Western Xia fell. Tangut character composition follows principles also found in Chinese writing, but it represents a different language. The script shares a regional history with Khitan state scripts; that does not establish a specific Chinese or Khitan character corresponding to 𘃓.
Historical and specialist: it reads as a script specimen, not a casual reaction.
𘃓 is Tangut writing, not a Chinese character or an emoji.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘃓 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
