What 𘇦 means
It means “god” in Tangut. An index to a Tangut dictionary lists entry 0121 and gives the scholarly Latin transcription dẹ. This is a lexical word, not a general emblem for any deity.
The Tangut script was created in 1036 for the Tangut-ruled Western Xia state and its Buddhist canon (a collection of Buddhist scriptures). It later carried Buddhist manuscripts, Chinese classics translated into Tangut, legal texts and literature. Tangut writing survived the state’s fall in 1227 and continued through 1502; these dates describe the script, not this glyph’s first appearance. Tangut uses Chinese-style strokes and followed the Khitan model, but represents the Tangut language.
A readable display needs a font with Tangut coverage; this is text-font rendering.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘇦 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
