What 𘉋 means
It means “eight” in Tangut.
Tangut was the writing system of the Xixia (Western Xia) kingdom in what is now northwestern China. It was created under the first emperor about 1036 CE and used in official, private, and religious texts. Writing continued after the kingdom fell and became obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty. Ordinary texts used 𘉋 for eight; one special ode wrote eight as “two [times] four.”

1Why does 𘉋 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
