What 𘉌 means
Its Unicode label identifies the character, but does not translate it.
Unicode's label for 𘉌 is built from its code point. It identifies the encoded character, not its Tangut reading or a translation; a Tangut dictionary or a passage with surrounding words is needed to translate it.
The Tangut script, also known as the Xixia or Western Xia script, was created around 1036 CE under the first emperor of Western Xia. Western Xia was a state in what is now northwestern China. The script wrote the Tangut language for government records, private writing, and Buddhist texts, including sutras, inscriptions, and manuscripts. Its design drew on Chinese writing, but it records a different language. It continued under the later Chinese Yuan and Ming dynasties after Western Xia fell, became obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty, and was rediscovered in the late 19th century.
How do I type 𘉌?
Use an editor's Unicode input for U1824C.
Enter U1824C through your operating system or editor's Unicode code-point tool. The exact key sequence depends on the app; display also requires a font with Tangut coverage.
Why does 𘉌 show as a box?
The selected font may not include Tangut.
A font without Tangut coverage cannot draw 𘉌 and may show a missing-glyph box. Tangut sources also preserve variant glyph forms, so fonts can draw the same encoded character with different shapes without changing its identity.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘉌 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the Tangut block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
