What 𘉊 means
It means “spinach” in Tangut. Li Fanwen’s 2008 English index to his Tangut dictionary maps entry L4666 to “spinach.” Gerard Clauson’s Skeleton Tangut Dictionary, another book about Tangut words, also lists the character.
The Tangut script was promulgated in 1036 as the official writing system of Western Xia and also served cultural writing, including Chinese and Buddhist works. After the 13th-century Mongol conquest, Tangut Buddhist texts continued to be produced in the Yuan period.
