What 𘋃 means
It means “to melt” in Tangut.
Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut–Chinese Dictionary indexes this exact character under “to melt.” If someone sends it alone, that gloss tells you the word, but not why they chose it.
Is 𘋃 a Chinese character?
No. It belongs to the separate Tangut script.
Created under the Western Xia court around 1036 CE to write Tangut, the script continued after the dynasty fell and was obsolete by the end of the Ming dynasty. Its square forms were modeled on Chinese regular script, but the writing systems are distinct; their characters are not interchangeable.
