What 𘐚 means
Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary glosses 𘐚 as “clear.” Unicode links it to entry 5178; “Tangut Ideograph-1841A” is a code-point label, not a translation.
Western Xia (Xixia) ruler Li Yuanhao ordered Tangut writing for its language in 1036. The script drew on Chinese writing without deriving from it, supported a distinct state identity, and was used for Buddhist texts. A manuscript from the ruined city of Khara-Khoto probably dates to the 12th or early 13th century.
After Western Xia fell in 1227, Yuan-period Buddhist sources show Tangut writing continuing beyond the kingdom.
It belongs to scholarly and archival Tangut texts.
A blank box can mean your font lacks Tangut support.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘐚 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
