What 𘑡 means
Its Chinese gloss is “dislike” or “resentment.” Li Fanwen’s Tangut dictionary lists 𘑡 as entry 0387, glossed 嫌.
Why was Tangut writing created?
It grew with the Western Xia kingdom. Tangut writing was created around 1036 during state-building.
Yuan- and Ming-era texts used Tangut for Chinese classics, law, military works, literature, and Buddhist texts. Its forms reflect neighboring Khitan scripts and Chinese writing principles, but are not direct descendants of Chinese writing.

The gloss does not communicate “dislike” to a reader who cannot read Tangut.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘑡 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
