What 𘓘 means
Li Fanwen’s dictionary glosses 𘓘 as “hot.”
Introduced in Western Xia in 1036 to write Tangut, the script drew on Chinese character forms but remained distinct. Ruler Li Yuanhao asked adviser Yeli Renrong to prepare handwriting models to promote it. Tangut served official, religious, and private texts. An early Khara-Khoto woodblock-printed book is dated 1084.
Historical and specialist; the “hot” gloss needs Tangut context.

1Why does 𘓘 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
