What 𘓥 means
𘓥 is a character in the Tangut writing system.
Western Xia (also called Xixia) was founded in 1038, two years after the Tangut script was created in 1036. The script gave Tangut a writing system for state use. Its forms borrowed strokes and design ideas from Chinese characters, but it represented the Tangut language, not Chinese. Tangut texts include Buddhist and legal works, translations, dictionaries, and inscriptions.
Western Xia fell in 1227, but Tangut writing continued in Buddhist works and inscriptions during the Yuan period (1271–1368). Buddhist pillars dated 1502 are the latest known Tangut writings.
What does ꞏụ² tell me?
It is a scholarly reconstructed pronunciation, not a translation.
An index to a Tangut dictionary lists 𘓥 as entry 2847 and gives the reconstructed reading ꞏụ². That notation records how scholars reconstruct its sound; by itself, it is not an English translation.

fsymbols draws rare signs with its own fonts, so they show here even where your device has none. An app or website without such a font shows an empty box (□) or a question mark instead. Turn our fonts off to see each sign as your device draws it by itself: a box here means a box in your chats and documents too.
