What 𘛠 means
It is glossed as “millet,” a cereal grain. Li Fanwen’s 2008 Tangut dictionary index gives that gloss. The label “Tangut Ideograph-186E0” identifies the character by script and code point; it does not translate it.
Created around 1036 under Western Xia emperor Li Yuanhao, Tangut writing served the state and its Buddhist canon, and marked it as distinct from Song China. Its forms drew on Chinese writing but became a separate script; Tangut writing also followed earlier Khitan state scripts and remained in use into the Yuan and Ming dynasties.
A historical writing-system character, suited to scholarly or literary contexts.
If 𘛠 shows as a box, the font likely lacks Tangut coverage; the character itself is unchanged.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘛠 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
