What 𘛩 means
As of 2026, no reliable standalone English translation is established.
Research transcribes its Tangut reading as kjɨ̱¹; Tangut scholar Li Fanwen's 2008 catalogue assigns it number 5400. Introduced in 1036, Tangut writing served Xixia administration, Buddhist texts and translations from Chinese. Its forms drew on Chinese writing but represent Tangut.
Wénhǎi, a Tangut dictionary tradition, lists the graph by the 12th century. Writing continued after Xixia fell in 1227; last known examples date to 1502. As of 2026, the character appears chiefly in research and fonts.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𘛩 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
